Refund and Cancellation Policy
Version 2 · effective 8 October 2026 · replaces the version of April 11, 2026
Operator: Michael König-Weichhardt, trading as aio (sole proprietor), Bachweg 10, 8410 Wildon, Austria · support@aioengine.io
1. Scope
This policy applies to aio platform subscriptions (aioengine.io plans). Platform subscriptions are sold by Paddle as merchant of record; Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase. Purchases and subscriptions in a tenant's shop are processed through that tenant's own Stripe account, and that tenant's own terms apply.
2. Cancellation
2.1. You can cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings or by email to support@aioengine.io.
2.2. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
2.3. No further charges are made after the cancellation takes effect.
3. Refunds
3.1. Subscription payments are not refundable, except as set out in 3.2 and 3.3.
3.2. If you asked us to cancel (by email or message to us, or through the cancellation function, recorded with us) before a renewal was charged and were charged anyway, we refund exactly that charge and make sure the subscription is cancelled.
3.3. Your statutory rights are not affected. This includes any statutory right of withdrawal you have as a consumer under Paddle's buyer terms.
3.4. A refund is never higher than the amount you paid.
4. Free trials
If a plan starts with a free trial, the first charge is made when the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends if you do not want to continue.
5. How to ask
Send an email to support@aioengine.io with your account email address, the date and amount of the charge and, if you have it, the transaction or invoice reference. We answer within 5 business days. Approved platform refunds are paid through Paddle, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before you start a chargeback with your bank, so we can resolve the issue quickly.
7. Changes
We announce material changes on the platform at least 30 days in advance. The version in effect at the time of a transaction applies to it.
